Power Dividers
R. Cushman and Associates specializes in design and manufacturing of power dividers. Our power dividers are able to provide an auxiliary drive that routes full engine power for PTOs, pumps, and accessories. The power divider is placed between the engine and transmission with some applications having provisions to clutch the transmission. The bus, truck, and airport rescue industry is where these are most commonly used. All our gearing is ground to standards typically higher then AGMA standards, while the housings can be cast or fabricated aluminum or steel housings.
