R. Cushman and Associates warrants our products for twelve (12) months for defects in material and workmanship. We allow a shelf life of up to six (6) months if the product is stored in an approved environment. A gearbox repaired under warranty will be warranted to the end of the original warranty period, or 90 days after placed back into service after repair, whichever is longer.
We will repair or replace units found to be defective at our facility. A Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number is required for return.
Out of warranty overhauled or reconditioned gearboxes will be warranted for six (6) months in service with a maximum six (6) months shelf life for workmanship and materials replaced during repair.
Our warranty does not cover freight in either direction, removal or installation costs or any consequential damages of any nature.
In the case of repair at a customer’s facility, R. Cushman & Associates will determine if the customer, or company personnel will perform the repair. If the customer is to do the repair, it will be for an agreed in advance, not to exceed cost.
If a customer decides to have repairs done by another repair facility, it must be for an agreed not to exceed cost, and we will reimburse costs to our customer only. R. Cushman & Associates will not warranty repairs made by personnel not in our employ.
If any warranty terms other than our normal warranty are desired, those terms must be requested at the time of costing, and agreed to in writing by R. Cushman & Associates.
Any warranty or service return must be approved by the undersigned.
